In Tel Aviv a woman is comforted after a rocket attack, while in the Gaza the man surveys rubble left by an Israeli air raid. The paper reports Israel launched “ferocious revenge attacks” after Hamas militants killed more than 600 people and took 100 hostages in the “bloodiest day of terror in 50 years” against the Jewish state.
