The Arizona Republic says Looking to break Democrats’ hold on the news cycle, former President Donald Trump held his second major rally in Arizona in three months on Friday.
The event at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale offered a chance for Trump to end Vice President Kamala Harris’ momentum and reclaim the electoral advantage in a state he had comfortably led for months over President Joe Biden.
Trump was joined on stage by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who suspended his independent presidential campaign Friday and endorsed Trump.
Trump and Kennedy made a splash, to be sure. But there was also an undercurrent of urgency as Republicans know Arizona is a different race than it was when he last visited in June.
