Metro – Taylor terror cops on alert
Counter-terror police are on the alert to make sure it is safe for Taylor Swift’s Wembley shows to go ahead after a bomb plot prevented her from performing in Vienna, according to Metro.
Are Taylor Swift’s UK Eras Tour shows going ahead?
It’s been a tough few weeks for Taylor Swift and her fans after the Southport tragedy and the Vienna concert terror threat.
Given the climate in the UK right now, with rioting and unease, Swifties with tickets for her five nights at Wembley Stadium are wondering if the gigs will go ahead.
The Eras Tour was set to arrive in Vienna, Austria, for performances this weekend but has been cancelled after a terror threat was unearthed.
Increased security was initially announced at the Ernst Happel Stadium until a ‘concrete threat’ put a stop to the entire show.
Some high profile fan accounts have offered up their Wembley tickets to anyone in Vienna who is now unable to go but wants to travel to the UK for a final chance to see her.
Taylor, 34, is yet to speak on the cancellations and it is believed she intends to go ahead with the Wembley gigs this month.
