Daily Express – Boris vows to campaign on great Brexit freedoms
Former prime minister Boris Johnson will hit the campaign trail to protect the “Brexit freedoms he secured with his election victory” in 2019, the Daily Express reports.
The paper says Johnson is understood to be keen to fight to protect red wall seats in the north of England and the Midlands that the Conservatives won from Labour in 2019. It adds, though, that he is not expected to appear on the stump with successor Rishi Sunak.
