The back page of the Daily Mirror reports on Jose Mourinho turning down the England men’s manager job back in 2008.
Mourinho was speaking for former Man United and England star Rio Ferdinand on a podcast, saying the contract was on the table but he had rejected it because he had no interest in managing a national team.
Elsewhere, Roy Hodgson’s health makes the paper. The paper says he suffered a ‘major health scare’ after being taken ill during training.
