LBC says With a ‘major poll’ predicting the Tories are on course for the worst electoral defeat since 1997, James O’Brien questions who funded this poll and the motivation behind the right-wing media who have chosen to publish its findings. 

The poll stresses that ‘every Red Wall seat won from Labour by Boris Johnson in 2019’ will supposedly be lost and that Chancellor Jeremy Hunt will lose his seat. It also claims that Reform UK are set to have a ‘huge impact’ on the election result.
