The inside of a home where a YouTube mom known for parenting advice before she admitted to starving her two children has been revealed in appalling footage.
Mommy blogger Ruby Franke, 41, is accused of leaving her kids malnourished and one of them with open wounds and his ankles and wrists duct taped. She was arrested alongside her business partner in September in Utah and pleaded guilty to four counts of aggravated child abuse of her kids on Monday.
Police bodycam footage obtained by ABC News showed cops swarming Franke’s home the day that she was taken into custody. The footage captures cops forcing their way in and looking through each room. It shows a large room downstairs and a garage full of objects.
It also includes an audio recording of a call that one of Franke’s older kids made to police.
‘My four younger siblings are living in Springville and my neighbours have been telling me that they have been left home alone for about four or five days,’ Shari Franke is heard saying in the 911 call.
