WCL fixtures for Wednesday 20 December: Chelsea vs Hacken
The Women’s Champions League (WCL) is back in action tonight as Chelsea face Hacken away at Bravida Arena.
Chelsea star Sam Kerr said the Blues can now focus on the WCL after a 3-0 Women’s Super League (WSL) win over Bristol City ended their shaky form.
They lost 4-1 to Arsenal in front of a packed Emirates Stadium, before drawing with Hacken at home.
Chelsea sit in second place, just two points behind Hacken. If they win the match they will go to the top of Group D.
“I think we saw at the weekend that a week is a long time in football,” said Sam Kerr.
“Football moves fast, you don’t have time to sit on a game and feel bad for yourself or feel bad for the team.
“It ended up ending on a great note with our win against Bristol and now we can focus back on the Champions League.”
