The Metro leads on the news that the likely next boss of the BBC has said he believes Gary Lineker has breached impartiality guidelines with his social media posts criticising the government.

The paper’s headline questions whether the former footballer has “met his match”. Speaking to MPs ahead of his confirmation to the position, Samir Shah said he believed the corporation’s highest-paid star breached the BBC’s social media rules in tweets about Tory MPs during a row about the government’s Rwanda policy.
