Afghanistan hit by second earthquake in days
Afghanistan has been hit with a second earthquake just days after large quakes struck the same region and killed more than 1,000 people.
The new 6.3 magnitude quake struck on Wednesday, around 17 miles north of the city of Herat.
More than 100 people have been injured and sent to hospital, officials said.
The wider impact of the latest quake is not yet clear but many people were sleeping in the open after their homes were destroyed on Saturday.
Aid agencies have also said there is a shortage of blankets, food and other supplies.
