Vicky Pattison had a seriously lucky escape as the car she was traveling in burst into flames.
The Geordie Shore star, 35, was heading to a glamorous night out with fiance Ercan Ramadan when the horror incident occurred.
Vicky shared shocking details with fans on Instagram in the moments after the car caught fire, explaining she and Ercan had got an Uber to take them into London for a night out.
‘I actually don’t even know what to say about what’s just happened, it was absolutely terrifying,’ she said, laughing nervously in a video to fans.
The couple were being driven by an Uber on the A1 when Ercan noticed the engine management light was on, and the car began ‘making this really terrible noise.’
Their driver pulled over on the motorway as smoke began pouring out of the back of the car, and assured Vicky and Ercan they should stay in the car as ‘it will be fine’.

‘Obviously you’re on the A1 so you don’t want to get out,’ Vicky said. ‘And then all of a sudden it just caught fire.’
‘It just burst into flames,’ she went on. ‘The whole car’s exploded. Absolutely terrifying, and we’re just on the side of the road.’
Police were immediately on the scene and warned the couple – who were dressed to the nines ahead of their glamorous dinner – to get back.
Vicky and Ercan were absolutely flabbergasted and unsure of what to do, but were saved by a ‘really lovely man’ who drove past and offered them a lift to London.
She admitted she was ‘a little bit shaken up’… not helped by the fact Uber charged her £50 ‘for the privilege of nearly being BBQ’d (sic).’
Thankfully the couple eventually made it to where they needed to go, and Vicky shared snaps from their mouthwatering dinner, after ‘three cars, two hours and one near death experience.’

Podcast host Vicky were engaged last year, and as well as planning their wedding are also starting on the path towards parenthood.
The star is working on freezing her eggs after a setback in January where an ovarian cyst was discovered which had to be removed before the treatment could go ahead.
She shared in April that the cyst was gone, meaning she and Ercan, 38, are ‘finally able to take our next steps to becoming parents one day’.
‘We are happy, grateful and a little bit apprehensive but ultimately really excited to take these next steps towards growing our family together ✨
‘Sending you all loads of love. And to anyone else who isn’t quite where they thought they’d be with their fertility journey I just wanted to send you love, light and positivity 💕.’
