Nicola is on a mission, Sarah has some explaining to do and Dan comes to a decision in another big week for Emmerdale (Picture: ITV)
Emmerdale lines up another heartbreaking week, following the tragedy that struck the village.
There is certainly more aftermath to come following Rishi Sharma’s (Bhasker Patel) death, but there’s also sadness elsewhere, with Dan Spencer (Liam Fox) concerned about his and Amelia’s (Daisy Campbell) future.
In fact, the mechanic makes a big decision about his plea ahead of his hearing, but just what is he up to?
Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles), meanwhile, is intrigued by Nicola King’s (Nicola Wheeler) new bus shelter, which has a very special tribute to those the village lost in the storm.
Desperate for a sneak peek of all the drama to come?
We thought you might be, and thus we’ve got four brand new preview clips of next week’s (July 31 to Aug 4) goings-on in the village to tide you over until then.
You’re welcome.

Bernice is intrigued when she overhears Nicola on the phone discussing the unveiling of the new bus stop.
After being quizzed on the matter, Nicola explains that the shelter will be made out of wood from the storm and thus it’ll be dedicated to Harriet and Liv, who both lost their lives in the disaster. Bernice remains uninterested, believing Nicola to be using it as an opportunity to boost her profile as a councillor.

Dan and Victoria stop by to see Sarah, determined to find out what Amelia is up to. Sarah ultimately reveals that Amelia has gone to do something with huge ramifications, with the two racing to stop her.
Amelia, meanwhile, is seen at the police station, with PC Swirling asking her what she needs. Giving it some thought, Amelia explains that she’s there to give a statement about Lloyd. Viewers, at this stage, will know that she intends to give a false statement, hoping it will help Dan’s case.
The question is: can Dan and Victoria talk her out of this?

It’s the day of Dan’s hearing and he discusses what to expect with his solicitor, who confirms that when the case goes to trial, Amelia will be expected to give evidence on the stand.
It appears as if this revelation leads Dan to change his mind about his plea, with spoilers for subsequent scenes confirming that the mechanic pleads guilty, much to Amelia’s horror.
Emmerdale airs these scenes w/c Monday July 31 at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
