TikTok has established itself as a social media force to be reckoned with over the past few years, with its short-form videos offering us entertainment, life hacks and a whole lot more besides.
Now, however, the platform is branching out into territory more commonly covered by the likes of Twitter – or X, as it’s more recently become known – by allowing users to put out text posts and photos alongside their video content.
Users will not only be able to post text but they’ll be able to customise those posts – by adding sound, location or their own reaction to other people’s words on the TikTok.
‘These features make it so your text posts are just as dynamic and interactive as any video or photo post,’ TikTok has said.
If you’re a regular TikTok user and you want to try your hand at text posts on the site, how do you go about it?
