A father-of-four plumber was killed after falling into a manhole just months before he was set to walk down the aisle.
Robert Hall, 34, was on a plumbing job at a high school when he slipped and fell off a ladder and down roughly 20 feet into a maintenance hole, WSBTV reported.
‘On July 12th Robert Hall was at work and fell into a manhole, he did not make it out!’ states a GoFundMe page for Hall’s funeral expenses.
‘He leaves behind his (fiancé) Melina Rich and his four children his oldest son Rylon who lives with his mom and three other children Leanna, Anniston and Weston!

‘Robert was an amazing man who has left behind an amazing family!’
Rescuers who arrived at Armuchee High School in Rome, Georgia, took nearly 45 minutes to pull Hall out because of methane gas.
When they did, Hall was unconscious and could not be revived, his would-be father-in-law John Burtz told Atlanta News First.
Hall and Rich were planning to tie the knot in October. They had already sent out invitations to their wedding.

‘They have already started their life together. They wanted to make it official,’ Hall’s sister Roby Hames told WBSTV. ‘They’ve already paid caterers and venues.’
Hall’s eight-year-old daughter, Leanna, told the TV station that ‘he was the best’ and ‘came home every day with a smile on his face’.
He was a plumbing contractor for the high school.
Another sister, Kari Hall, said methane gas in the sewer lines may have contributed to her brother’s death.

‘It don’t make sense to me why it takes so long to get down there when you should have been prepared for anything like that. Doing a job like that,’ she said.
‘You know that stuff is awful. It’ll kill you. I feel like maybe that’s what got him.’
His cause of death was not immediately disclosed.
Floyd County Schools Superintendent Glenn White stated that ‘this accident has impacted our school system family and stakeholders in many ways and we are actively sending support to those directly affected by this’.
He was the sole provider for the family and did not have insurance.’
The GoFundMe page had raised more that $17,000 as of Tuesday afternoon.
