Flying objects from the crowd have become a major problem at concerts with multiple artists injured but Drake is just sad he’s not being thrown lingerie.
The 36-year-old took a break between songs to chat to his Montreal crowd, chastising them for not offering up their underwear.
Drake is no stranger to people flinging things on stage, having dodged a flying phone as he kicked off his latest tour a few weeks back.
There has been a spate of fans lobbing things on stage, with Bebe Rexha nursing a black eye after she was hit squarely with a phone.
This tradition has become a slight epidemic as fans recklessly throw items that aren’t going to have a cushioned landing.
‘I’d just like to say, before I go on to this next song, this is the first stage, I think, where I don’t have no bras, and I’m deeply disappointed,’ Drake told the crowd on Saturday.
The One Dance rapper was eight shows deep into his It’s All A Blur tour when he took offence to the lack of underwear on his stage.
He continued: ‘Don’t start throwing shoes and phones and shit. If you got a bra, though, just let me know that I still got it, ’cause I feel like I might be having a bad show or something.
‘I didn’t see no bras tonight.’
Bra throwing is clearly a thing Drake still experiences at his gigs, although the tradition has defintitely dwindled in popularity over the years.
It’s possible fans are simply going braless more often so don’t have one to throw, especially in post-lockdown years.
As a multimillionaire, charging on average $200 (£150) per ticket, he also probably hasn’t considered how expensive a bra can be.

Fans may not be so willing to part with their favourite bra when it costs the same as the tour’s merchandise – plus a good bra is hard to find.
‘Maybe if I play this next song, and I take you back in the day again to, like, 2016, maybe you’ll throw me a bra. How about that?’ he added.
It’s not known if his plea for his fans bras resulted in any being thrown at Montreal.
In Chicago he also encouraged bra throwing and even took the time to inspect one bra from a woman, whose friend posted a video on TikTok, and declared: ‘nasty’.
We’re not sure why Drake is determined to collect all these bras – perhaps he’ll donate them to a charity or shelter.

Drake really wants his fans bras, apparently.
