Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is close to leaving Chelsea after reaching an agreement to join Marseille, according to reports in France.
The former Arsenal captain has endured a torrid time at Stamford Bridge since his £12 million move from Barcelona last September.
Aubameyang arrived just days before Thomas Tuchel, who he had a strong relationship with following their time together at Borussia Dortmund, was sacked and went on to score just three goals in 21 appearances.
The 34-year-old also suffered the humiliation of being axed from Chelsea’s Champions League squad in February due to the wave of new signings in the January transfer window.
Aubameyang has been looking to leave Chelsea this summer and a move to the Saudi Pro League was considered his most-likely destination.

However, RMC Sport report that Aubameyang has now agreed a two-year contract with Marseille, which includes the option of a third season.
Marseille are now in talks with Chelsea to convince them to allow the striker to leave Stamford Bridge on a free transfer.
Aubameyang still has a year remaining on his contract with Chelsea, which is worth around £160,000 a week.
Marseille, meanwhile, finished third in Ligue 1 last season and could make the Champions League this season if they progress through the qualifiers this summer.
