Ronan Keating is ‘heartbroken’ following the shock death of his brother, Ciaran Keating.
News broke over the weekend that a fatal car crash took place on July 15 in the afternoon, when Ciaran was on his way to watch his son, Ruairí Keating, play for Cork City FC against Sligo Rovers FC.
Cork City FC released a statement on social media, saying they were all ‘deeply saddened’ by Ciaran’s death and sent their ‘deepest sympathies’ to the Keating family.
While Boyzone star Ronan is yet to speak out, a friend has said he ‘dropped everything’ after getting the dreaded phone call to inform him of his brother’s death.
The 46-year-old reportedly hurried back to Ireland to be with his tight-knit family.
A friend told The Sun: ‘It’s the phone call no one wants to take about their loved ones.
