Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) will start to wonder if she made the right decision agreeing to Spider Nugent’s (Martin Hancock) proposal in Coronation Street.
In a recent episode of the ITV soap, Spider was told that he needs to leave Weatherfield due to the fact Griff (Michael Condron) wants to get revenge on him. This left him wondering what to do about Toyah, who was busy wondering if Spider was thinking about getting back with his wife after finding emails and proof that he had been looking at houses near her.
Confronted, Spider explained that he was in contacted with his ex because he wants to sort the divorce out, and that he had used some of his savings to buy Toyah a ring.

Despite the risks, Toyah said yes to Spider’s idea of marriage but coming up, his life as an undercover police officer will quickly lead her to danger.
With Spider out of the flat, Toyah is met with a woman who claims to be his wife.
While she chats, Leanne (Jane Danson) bumps into Spider and is shocked when he reveals that his wife isn’t actually in the country. Spider phones Toyah and warns her the woman is an imposter.
Feeling panicked, Toyah tries to act normal but when Leanne and Spider burst into the flat, they find signs of a disturbance, blood on the floor, and no Sam (Jude Riordan) or Toyah.
