Mary Goskirk (Louise Jameson) is in for a horrible time in Emmerdale soon as she comes across Faye, the woman who ran off with all her money.
Faye and Mary met on a dating app, which came after Mary bravely revealed to her family that she’s a lesbian but never felt she could come out when she was younger.
As Mary and Faye connected, it appeared they had hit the jackpot. They both got on incredibly well, shared the same interests and loved hearing about each other’s lives.
Sadly, it was all good to be true, as Faye was revealed to actually be a con artist and successfully stole Mary’s cash and left her, leaving her humiliated.
In Friday’s (July 14) edition of the ITV soap, Mary was told that Faye had been arrested.

However, in this new video, it’s very clear it isn’t the end of the matter as Faye hasn’t been put behind bars just yet.
Confronted, Faye tries to tell Mary that she truly cared about her but this time, the charm isn’t washing with the beloved character.
Mary tells Faye that all she wants is her money back and for her ex to plead guilty and as things escalate, she then threatens to call the police.

Faye says she’s got barely anything to her name (Picture: ITV)
As Mary gets closer to Faye’s car, she discovers some belongings inside.
She asks if Faye is living in her car and she says yes, but is it true?
As the week continues, Faye’s true motives are exposed. She tells Mary that unless she changes her statement, she will send some intimate photos to everyone in the village.
‘Mary is just so worried about this because of her lack of confidence’, Louise Jameson said.

‘She’s just so worried about being laughed at, you know? I think women in their 70s having a sex life is a very delicate conversation to have anyway, let alone when that woman has recently come out as a lesbian. The tittle-tattle and the fear about what people will think about you…It often fades away as you get older, you stop caring what people think about you, but because Mary’s in such a vulnerable position, I think things have become much more exaggerated.
‘If you’re really confident and a nude picture of you is sent around everywhere it would be like, “oh well that’s a bit embarrassing” but your kind of over it. But in Mary’s particular position at the moment, it’s deeply wounding.’
