Just Stop Oil arrived on the set of Channel 4’s The Last Leg, in an unexpected protest.
Adam Hills, Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker were left surprised by the uninvited guests, who introduced themselves and gave the hosts orange high-vis vests.
The lead presenter Adam, 53, informed viewers that this was not planned, as the individuals made themselves at home just seconds into the programme.
As part of the protest, they also let off an orange confetti explosion before security for the show removed them from the studio.
Rather than be annoyed by the invaders, Adam whooped and cheered while Josh said he was ‘relieved’ they were part of Just Stop Oil.
‘Not going to lie I s**t myself,’ he said. ‘I was relieved it was Just Stop Oil as we slagged off Putin last week.’
‘I regret not bringing my inhaler,’ he later added. ‘I thought it was an assasin.’
Although, he did later admit to being annoyed they weren’t bothered about staying for the duration of the show.

In quite a friendly exchange the protestor told Adam: ‘Hi, I’m William.’
‘Hi William,’ he responded as the pair hugged.
‘If you couldn’t already tell, we are live,’ he added once they’d exited the stage.
The host, who took it all in good spirits, also said he wouldn’t mind if they came every week.
‘If that’s what every Just Stop Oil protest is like I’m down with it. If it’s people coming out smiling and throwing orange confetti, absoloutely bring it on. Know when to get the f**k off, but do you know what that’s great. Can we do that every week?’
While Alex, 39, and Josh, 40, also leaned into the chaos and carried each other around the set.
