Mauricio Pochettino will sanction the sale of Chelsea star Trevoh Chalobah should the right offer be made, according to reports.
Though 10 players have already left Chelsea this summer, more departures are expected as the club continue their mass clear out in an attempt to raise transfer funds.
Among those include Christian Pulisic whose move to AC Milan is all but confirmed, as well as Romelu Lukaku who is hoping to seal a permanent return to local rivals Inter Milan.
And if reports are true, the pair could be joined at the San Siro by a familiar face, with Standard Sport claiming that Chalobah is up for sale with Inter among the clubs interested in his services.
The 24-year-old returned to pre-season last week and is willing to fight for his place at his boyhood club, but has now been deemed surplus to requirements.
Pochettino only wants four centre-backs at Stamford Bridge next season, and Thiago Silva, Wesley Fofana, Benoit Badiashile and Levi Colwill are all ahead of Chalobah in the pecking order.

And given that the defender wants regular game time in order to earn a place in the England squad ahead of next summer’s Euros, he is now content to leave also.
It is not known how much the Blues want for the player, whose contract expires in 2028, but it is said that Inter value him at around £25million and Chalobah has spoken positively about the idea of playing in Italy.

Chalobah burst onto the scene in 2021, scoring a stunning goal on his Premier League debut and helping his side win the UEFA Super Cup and reach the finals of the FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
In all, he has made 63 appearances for Chelsea, establishing himself as a solid yet unspectacular defender under Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter and Frank Lampard.
