Shania Twain thrilled thousands during her sold-out slot at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night and left them wanting more as she teased a new release.
The 57-year-old music legend played a set at the iconic New York City venue as part of her ongoing Queen Of Me tour that is due to end later this year in November.
Belting out her greatest hits, the chart-topper teased the audience with news of yet another album release in honour of her Come On Over collection’s 25th anniversary.
Addressing the sea of glittering cowboy hats and country-style boots to match, the much-loved singer paused proceedings to share an announcement.
She told crowds she would be ‘reissuing her seminal Come On Over album’ to celebrate its success over the years of her chart domination.
An account on Twitter using the handle @aquarianweekly penned: ‘EXCLUSIVE (between us and all of MSG) Shania Twain just announced that she will be reissuing her seminal ‘Come On Over’ album – the best selling album by a country artist EVER and the best selling album by a female artist EVER – for its 25th anniversary this year ‼️ [sic].’

Fans at the show couldn’t contain their excitement at seeing the Canadian singer-songwriter in the flesh and took to social media to express their utter awe at having watched her perform live.
One said: ‘@ShaniaTwain forever in awe of you! What an amazing show! Loved your voice, loved the outfits, love you even more now and I didn’t think that was possible! #queenofme #MSG [sic].’

Another exclaimed: ‘I may have just seen the greatest live performance of my life. @ShaniaTwain at MSG. I wasn’t ready for that. At all. Wow [sic].’
‘@ShaniaTwain WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!! We tried to play it cool but were clearly absolutely dying Can’t thank you enough, we’ll never forget this!!!!! [sic],’ a separate social media user emotional typed in response to watching the artist.

Elsewhere during the country extravaganza, NBC News’ Today show host Hoda Kotb arrived on stage to honour Shania with a recognition for her Come On Over album becoming the highest selling of its kind, ever.
The singer embarked on her latest run of shows last April with a performance in Spokane, Washington and will continue smashing out her songs until she leaves the road on November 14 in Vancouver, Canada.
