New photos released in the indictment against former President Donald Trump show he stored classified documents in boxes kept in various rooms at his Florida resort, including a bathroom and a shower.
The 37-count indictment against Trump was unsealed on Friday, charging the former president with mishandling classified documents.
The indictment alleges that the former president collected ‘newspapers, press clippings, letters, notes, cards, photographs, official documents, and other materials’ in cardboard boxes that were stored in the White House.

When Trump left office in January 2021, he transported those boxes to his home at the Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida. – where they were stored in ‘a bathroom, a ballroom and shower, an office space, his bedroom, and a storage room.
Included in these boxes was ‘information regarding defense and weapons capabilities of both the United States and foreign countries, United States nuclear programs, potential vulnerabilities of the United States and its allies to military attack, and plans for possible retaliation in response to a foreign attack,’ the indictment reads.
