Phillip Schofield’s ex-lover insists ITV ‘never asked’ about relationship with This Morning host

The Metro says Phillip Schofield’s younger former lover has reportedly claimed that he was never approached by ITV about his relationship with the This Morning host.

While the broadcaster insists the unnamed man was quizzed about the nature of his relationship with 61-year-old Phillip, his ex-lover has said otherwise.

Phillip announced on Friday (May 26) that he would be stepping down from the channel with ‘immediate effect’ after admitting to an affair with a runner on the show.

He was subsequently dropped by his agent of 35 years.
