A homophobic hate preacher was expertly shut down by a drag queen at Birmingham Pride, who told him that ‘everybody here loved him’ despite disagreeing with everything he says.
Drag queen Adam Carver, who performs under the name ‘Fatt Butcher,’ took to the streets of Birmingham on Saturday (May 27) to participate in a pride march when they spotted an anti-LGBT+ protester in the crowd.
Responding to the protestor, who was heckling attendees at the event, Carver said: ‘Repent your sins, darling? Repent YOUR sins.
‘Do you know what babes? We are love, and the only sin that’s happening right now is you spreading hate.’

‘So you have a gorgeous time burning in hell by yourself, alright babes.’
As they drove away on their ‘Big Gay Disco Bike,’ Carver can be heard saying ‘no religion teaches you to hate other people’.

‘Birmingham Pride seeks to challenge the injustices faced by our community and stands in solidarity with our global LGBTQ+ family.
‘Our parade this year is ground-breaking and will be represented by over eight thousand people from our community and seen by around a hundred thousand people in the heart of the city. I hope everyone attending will have a safe and happy Pride.’
