Bart Simpson voice actor Nancy Cartwright has been reportedly honoured by the Church of Scientology after donating more than $21million (£16.8m).
The 65-year-old has been a regular fixture on The Simpsons, voicing Bart as well as other characters including Ralph Wiggum and Todd Flanders.
While The Twilight Zone actress has been awarded for her work on the beloved cartoon, winning an Emmy Award, she accepted another gong on Tuesday in an entirely different field.
Nancy instead picked up a trophy for reaching the ‘Patron Excalibur With Honors’ level status late last year at the Church of Scientology.
The ‘Patron Excalibur with Honours’ is awarded to Scientologists who have donated more than $20m (£16m) to the Church, with Nancy reportedly handing over in excess of $21m (£16.8m).
The Goof Troop star was pictured at the bash, which was held at the Fort Harrison Hotel in Clearwater, Florida on Tuesday, alongside Scientology CEO David Miscavige.

According to the Daily Mail, she said in the new issue of Scientology’s Impact magazine: ‘This was the most beautiful acknowledgement I have ever received in my entire life.’
Nancy was raised a Roman Catholic but joined the Church of Scientology in 1991, winning her first award in 2007 after donating $10m ($8m).
She previously defended the Church when HBO released documentary, Going Clear, about its practices.

Nancy told the Associated Press: ‘Dude, it’s like you gotta be kidding me. It was such a lie. That book and that movie, I don’t even know what to tell you.
‘It’s called prejudice. It’s like, very irresponsible reporting. You know, anybody wants to find out about it you should find out about it for yourself. It’s called integrity.’
