Let the backstabbing commence once more as hit BBC reality series The Traitors is set to return.
On Monday the BBC announced that the Claudia Winkleman-hosted gameshow, which was watched over 34 million times on iPlayer, will be coming back.
When 22 strangers arrived at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands, little did we know that the next reality TV craze was about to get under way.
Claudia will be returning as host, confirming the news in a statement: ‘I can’t wait to go back to the castle to watch people play the greatest game on television.’
Now that the news has been confirmed, thousands of viewers will no doubt be eager to apply for season of The Traitors.
If you fancy your chances, here’s all the information you need.
How to apply for series two of The Traitors
A gameshow based on ‘strategy and suspicion’, The Traitors are comprised of ‘Traitors’ and ‘Faithfuls’, with the Traitors aiming to stay undetected.
Whether you fancy yourself as a Traitor or a Faithful, you can apply here – this is the official casting call and application form for the upcoming season.
The closing date is July 31st, 2023, so you’ve got five months to put the perfect application together in order to get on the show.

What do you need to include in your application for The Traitors?

In order to apply for The Traitors season 2, you must be: at least 18 years of age, a right to legally reside in the UK, and must be available to film for six weeks in the summer and autumn of 2023.
Contestants must also have no affiliation with the BBC or The Traitors’ production company All3Media, nor can contestant be a relative or employee of a BBC worker.
To apply, you’ll need to give your full name and details. You’ll also need to tell the BBC whether you intend to be a Traitor or a Faithful and explain why.

According to Claudia, who can’t wait to ‘get back to the castle’, it appears that season 2 will take place at Ardross Castle once again.
However, there’s no official word on that just yet, so we’ll have to keep our eyes peeled for more.
