After teasing fans, JLS have confirmed they are reuniting to embark on a huge UK and Ireland arena tour – with a twist.
The Beat Again chart-toppers, comprising Marvin Humes, Aston Merrygold, JB Gill and Oritsé Williams, have announced the Everybody Say JLS: The Hits Tour, which will kick off on October 20 in Dublin, Ireland, and wrap in Sheffield on November 11.
The group enjoyed their breakthrough on The X Factor in 2008, where they finished runners-up, before going on to enjoy five number one singles, a UK number one album and record sales of over 2. 3 million albums and 3.2 million singles in total.
After announcing their split in 2013, the band formed for a reunion in February 2020 and the ultimately postponed Beat Again Tour.
Now, as they prepare to embark on their major arena tour, the stars have also teased a ‘never before seen’ element for the shows – DJ battles!
‘There is going to be an element that audiences have never seen before from us,’ explained Marvin as JLS announced the tour.

‘People know that I DJ and the fans have asked for me to do some sort of DJing in the show. But that would mean the other three getting a rest, which I’m not up for.
‘Aston is DJing now, so there will be a part of the show where Aston and I will be playing tunes and JB and Oritsé will be hyping the crowd,’ he told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column.
He also added that it won’t just be JLS songs they spin, but ‘big records that represent the era that people know us the most from’.
However, their own hits will still be front and centre during the shows, including Everybody In Love, The Club Is Alive, Love You More and She Makes Me Wanna.

Aston admitted they always intend to set new trends with their unique shows, following flying cars and descending down from the ceiling, adding: ‘I’m not sure what else we can do to shock people.
‘But everyone’s always expecting greatness from a JLS show, which we will try and provide.’
Following their reunion in early 2020, a comeback concert series was originally scheduled for November that year, but it was postponed twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Marvin previously admitted it was ‘a massive risk’ eventually going ahead with the dates in October 2021 because there was no guarantee further restrictions would be put in place, with JLS the ‘first major tour back on the road’.
The singers managed it by staying in a bubble and hanging out strictly in a communal hotel room with their management and security teams, playing poker and computer games.
They have since released their first album in nine years in 2021 with album 2.0.
