Lizzo has become the latest celebrity to guest star on The Simpsons… and it’s about damn time!
However, fans will be delighted to know that they’ll be seeing the Juice hitmaker – real name Melissa Viviane Jefferson – twice in the series 34 finale.
Premiering in May, the final episode of the series titled, Homer’s Adventure Through the Windshield Glass, is pretty self explanatory as the last few moments sees Homer Simpson flying through the windshield of his car during an accident.
Talking about Lizzo’s, 34, cameo, executive producer Tim Long claims that the musician’s character and Homer form an unlikely friendship despite her constant use of the word ‘b***h.’
‘Well, if we have Lizzo, we should see Lizzo,’ he added to Entertainment Weekly.
‘So we animated a little thing at the end where she is recording her part with the Simpsons. And that’s really funny, too. It’s sort of a weird behind-the-scenes reality.’
And just in case you’re wondering, the flute will obviously be making an appearance.
Several expressed their excitement over seeing the chart-topping transform into a Simpsons character, with one tweeting: ‘Can’t wait to see this such an amazing story by the sounds of it.’

Lizzo joins a string of celebrities who have previously guest starred on the beloved animation, from Billie Eilish, The Weeknd and Ricky gervais.
Meanwhile, last year, season 33 of The Simpsons opened with the first ever all-musical episode on the series, starring Frozen actor Kristen Bell.
‘The premiere this year is the most musical episode we’ve ever done – almost wall-to-wall music,’ executive producer Matt Selman informed fans at a Comic-Con panel ahead of the premiere.

‘It’s like a Broadway musical of an episode, with all original songs, and we’ve got Kristen Bell playing the role of Marge’s singing voice. We all love Marge’s voice [Julie Kavner], but this is the singing voice that’s different, let’s just say.’
The Simpsons is available to watch on Disney Plus.
