The game is scheduled to begin at 6:30 pm across the pond which means the halftime show will likely be somewhere around 8pm, so it looks like Rihanna is set to take to the stage at 12: 45am over here.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of the performance, she explained that the offer came at the perfect time.
‘I’ve been so focused on the Super Bowl that I totally forgot my birthday is coming up, I forgot about Valentine’s Day,’ she told Nadeska. ‘I’m just like, “Super Bowl, Super Bowl, Super Bowl!”
‘We’re excited to do the Super Bowl. We’ve been working on it for a while and every day it gets closer to the finished product.

‘It feels like it could have only been now. When I first got the call to do it again this year, I was like: “Are you sure? I’m three months postpartum, should I be making major decisions like this right now? I might regret this.”
‘When you become a mom, there’s something that happens where you feel like you can take on the world, you can do anything. The Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world so… As scary as that was, because I haven’t been on stage in seven years, there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all.
‘It’s important for me to do this year, it’s important for representation. It’s important for my son to see that.’

As far as we’re aware Rihanna is the big name dominating the halftime show, however, it’s not uncommon for another musical guest to surprise the crowd.
Several of Rihanna’s biggest hits include a collaborator, from the likes of Drake, Shakira and Jay-Z, which is certainly reason to believe she won’t be alone on stage when she performs at halftime.
