Love Island star Casey O’Gorman had to steady himself after sharing a surprise smooch with bombshell Claudia Fogarty, when he admitted he’d become a little over excited.

On tonight’s episode, the boys treated the girls to a not-quite gourmet three-course meal in the villa, with the couples getting flirty under the moonlight after Tanyel Revan became the latest islander to be dumped from the 2023 winter series.

Having only just coupled up with Claudia – the daughter of racing legend and I’m A Celebrity winner Carl Fogarty – Casey was quick to promise that he’d make her a homecooked meal when they go for a date in the UK.

While enjoying some chocolate-dipped strawberries, Casey, 26, decided to go for it with Claudia, 28, leaning across the table to give her a kiss.

When they leant back on their seats, Claudia admitted their kiss had been ‘lovely’, as Casey went to go pick up his glass for a drink… only to spill it all over himself. Smooth.

They both joked that Casey had become a little too excited in the moment – but given he’d only recently been cast aside by Lana Jenkins in favour of Ron Hall, that’s to be expected.

Several Love Island fans admitted that they’re already jumping on board the Casey and Claudia love train, with one tweeting: ‘Casey is actually beautiful, love him and Claudia together.’

‘I cant lie i think Casey n Claudia kinda cute,’ another remarked, while someone else said: ‘I’m putting it out there now that if Claudia and Casey stick it out they could win this show.’

When Tanyel, 26, was booted out of the villa, one of the first questions that she faced upon her departure concerned the rumours that have continued to circulate around her and Ron, 25.

Despite Ron and Lana’s on-and-off relationship, and Tanyel insisting she was best friends with both of them, several viewers believed that sparks were flying between Tanyel and Ron.

However, the hair stylist was quick to shut down the speculation.

‘I didn’t expect to get on with him that well. He’s my best friend. When I get married one day, I want him to be there with Lana! Genuinely, I think he’ll be my friend for life,’ she said, adding that she’s rooting for Ron and Lana to win.

‘I’m so happy they’re together. I feel like they’re the strongest couple and they have the most genuine feelings for each other. I hope he won’t let me down!’
