Love Island star Dami Hope has hit out at ‘deluded’ fans who have been comparing his girlfriend Indiyah Polack to this year’s contestant Lana Jenkins.
For those who have missed the drama, Lana was left in tears after Ron Hall told her he showed interest in another bombshell entering the villa.
And some fans of the reality dating series are comparing this year’s winter edition to Indiyah and Dami’s storyline – but the 36-year-old microbiologist isn’t having any of it.
Taking to Twitter to vent his frustration, Dami wrote: ‘Imma say this one time for a lot of you deluded people – Indiyah and Lana ain’t the same, I never once sat her down in the villa and told her someone else was my type and disrespected her to her face over and over and she openly took me back.’
Dami went on to refer to the outcome of Casa Amor, which saw him coupled up with Summer Botwe and Indiyah bringing back Deji Adeniyi.

He continued: ‘I went to Casa and openly explored a new connection cause Indi and I said we’d get to know other people, obv never aired cause it didn’t fit into the producers agenda.
‘I obviously moved mad according to you lot cause indi didn’t do anything but really and truly if there was someone indi fully felt attracted to she would’ve 100% lipsed them, but aside from that fact, we come back to the villa and I still know indi is who I want and as much as I had to explain myself and I did countless times – but producers aren’t gonna show whole 20 min segments of me just talking bout what happened.
‘When I date someone I’m very transparent hence why we had an understanding prior to casa so nothing actually came at a shock and when I said to Indi I wanted her from there out I never backtracked or said one thing to her and then something else to another.’

He concluded: ‘I feel like a lot of you forget it’s heavily edited, you see like 15% of what actually goes on in there especially if it doesn’t fit the script for the dramatics you guys so desperately want.’
This comes after fans begged Lana to move on from Ron, after he expressed interest in Samie Elishi.
Days before, Ron had admitted wanting to get to know Ellie Spence, but ended up coming back to Lana not long later.

But it seems the deja-vu got to her, as she tearfully told Ron: ‘I just feel like I’m never number one.’
‘The way you made me feel is that you don’t even fancy me,’ she added.
