Matthew Wright has shared how ‘sickened and disgusted’ he is over Ghislaine Maxwell’s TalkTV interview with Jeremy Kyle.
The disgraced socialite gave her first interview behind bars from prison in California, where she spoke about her relationship with Prince Andrew and said she wished she had never met Jeffrey Epstein.
She elsewhere said that she believes Epstein was ‘murdered’ and branded the notorious photograph of Prince Andrew and Virginia Giuffre as ‘fake’.
TalkTV’s interview with the 61-year-old, who has been convicted of sex trafficking and grooming girls for billionaire paedophile Epstein, has already been slammed for platforming Maxwell and giving her a ‘voice’.
She was found guilty of luring young girls to massage rooms for Epstein to molest between 1994 and 2004, and has since been described as one of the most notorious female prisoners.

Speaking to This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield as well as guest Camilla Tominey, Matthew began: ‘You don’t give a platform to convicted sex traffickers or abusers, that is a disgraceful piece of journalism.
‘One of the things that we know about people that have been convicted of crimes is that normally what they say can’t be trusted, and yet you’re giving an uncritical platform to a sex abuser.

‘It’s nauseating,’ he added, echoing: ‘Disgraceful’.
He continued: ‘It’s like super rich people who have attempted to evade justice for as long as she did, are a special case and they’re allowed to pipe out their ridiculous excuses’.
During the explosive hour-long show, Maxwell revealed how she went from a life of privilege to becoming a convicted sex trafficker.

She also criticised the food in prison and being fed a diet of beans and tofu, as well as opening up about her famous friends including Bill Clinton.
Before the special was aired, Kyle stressed that Maxwell did not apologise to any of her victims at any point.

‘There is no part of any of this where she apologises to her victims, he said. ‘For me, they are the first and most important thing we should think about, the people who were trafficked, the young girls who were taken advantage of.
‘Away from that, there is so much that she talks about. Then, one asks about the timing because you would have read over the weekend that the Duke of York is considering a new legal battle.’
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
