Manchester United may be one of the biggest football clubs in the world – but the Red Devils are currently enduring a Premier League title drought.
Since Sir Alex Ferguson left Old Trafford almost a decade ago, United have frequently found themselves languishing down the table, with the likes of Louis van Gaal, Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer failing to add league silverware to their trophy cabinet.
However, following the successful arrival of Erik ten Hag in the summer of 2022, hopes have been rising within the club that United will soon reach the claim the title once again.
But exactly when was the last time Manchester United won the Premier League?

When was the last time Manchester United won the Premier League?
Manchester United last won the Premier League title in the 2012/13 season under Ferguson.

United finished 11 points clear of neighbours Manchester City in second-place, wrapping up the title with four games to spare.
From their 38 games, United won 28 times with five draws to end the season with 89 points.
Their only defeats came against Everton, Tottenham, Norwich, Manchester City and Chelsea.
United conceded 43 goals, and were top-scorers with 86 – in part due to Dutch striker Robin van Persie, who managed 26 goals following his arrival from Arsenal at the start of the season.
The title win was the last time the club won the Premier League title with Ferguson, who retired at the end of the season.

How many times has Manchester United won the Premier League?
Manchester United has won 13 Premier League titles, more than any other club in the history of the competition.
The club also won seven First Division titles before the advent of the Premier League in 1992, meaning that United has been crowned Champions of England 20 times in total.
This makes United the most successful club in English top flight history, ahead of Liverpool with 19 titles.
All 13 of the club’s Premier League titles have come under the stewardship of Ferguson, making the Scot the most decorated manager in the league’s history.
