A footballer has claimed an opposition player inserted their finger into his anus during a match.
The shocking allegation was detailed in a leaked message from Nottinghamshire FA’s disciplinary panel.
It says the alleged incident happened during a Sunday league game on January 8.
The possibility that multiple fingers had been inserted was also left worryingly open.
‘It has been reported to us that during a match between [home team] and [away team], a player allegedly inserted his finger(s) into an opposition player’s anus,’ the message reads.

Nottinghamshire FA said it was aware of the incident and it is currently under investigation.
Coaches, players and spectators who were at the match have been asked to complete witness statements by tomorrow, according to the message.
Nottinghamshire Police said they were unaware of the incident.
