Arsenal fans are dreaming of winning the Premier League title once again following the team’s dominant form in the 2022/23 season.
Mikel Arteta has gradually transformed the side into one of the best teams in Europe, with the north Londoners currently locked in a titanic title tussle with defending champions Manchester City.
The Gunners are one of the biggest and most successful clubs in English football but are on a baron spell of league titles, with a number of near misses – and mid-table finishes – since their last victory.
But when exactly did Arsenal last win the Premier League title? Here is what you need to know.
When was the last time Arsenal won the Premier League?

This was when they famously went the whole season undefeated, earning the eternal nickname of ‘The Invincibles’.
This was the first time a team had gone unbeaten during an English football season since Preston North End in 1888-89.
Over the course of the 38 game season, Arsenal won 26 times and registered 12 draws, prompting the Premier League to give Arsenal and Wenger a special commemorative gold trophy to celebrate the special achievement.
The North London side went unbeaten for 49 matches across three seasons between May 2003 and October 2004.
This is the record for the most games unbeaten in top flight history in English football, with the run finally ended in part due to a controversial penalty awarded to Manchester United at Old Trafford in October 2004.

How many times have Arsenal won the Premier League?
Arsenal has won three Premier League titles in their history, with victories in 1997-98 and 2001-02 to go alongside their Invincible season in 2003/04.
The Gunners have won 13 top flight titles in total, making them the third most successful club in English league history.

Only Manchester United (20) and Liverpool (19) have won more first division titles in English football.
Arsenal has not won the Premier League since moving to the Emirates Stadium in 2006, with their three titles all coming whilst playing at their old Highbury stadium.
The cost of building the new stadium was blamed for the lack of transfer activity in the following years, which coincided with a downturn in results on the pitch.
