They might have been brought in to shake things up in the villa, but Love Island fans are not happy with the decision to drop in Australian bombshells.
Just days after Zara Lackenby-Brown and David Salako walked in, newcomers Aaron Waters and Jessie Wynter are set to join the show on Sunday night.
Hailing from Melbourne, Aaron, 25, is a model and content creator who competed on the Aussie version of the programme in its third season in 2021.
Jessie, 26, is a personal trainer and influencer.
She lives in Sydney and was on Love Island Australia’s second season in 2019.
However, after the announcement, fans flocked to social media to complain about the casting – with one question in particular on their minds… how will the long distance work?

Many had issues with the fact any chance of a lasting relationship would be hindered by the fact couples would be living on the opposite sides of the world.
‘Putting Australians in the UK version of Love Island just proves they really don’t give a s*** about people finding love because how is that realistically ever gonna work,’ one person questioned.
Some-one else added: ‘They’re not going to commute from Australia to London every weekend are they?’

The pair will be entering the villa after the exit of David Salako who became the first islander to be dumped from the 2023 series, after being left on his own on Friday’s recoupling ceremony.
While there was an attraction with him and Tanya Manhenga, she decided to stick to her original couple with Shaq Muhammad, meaning that David was sent home after Lana Jenkins selected Will Young in the final pair.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
