Danny Dyer has revealed that he filmed his final EastEnders scenes as Mick Carter in a tank of broccoli juice, and we’re going to need more details immediately.
Mick, as fans of the BBC One soap know, vanished in the sea over the festive period while trying to save Linda (Kellie Bright) from a watery grave.
Little did he know, however, that Linda has already made it to safety while he was taking care of Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) and their unborn baby.
A body was never found, but it’s believed that the popular landlord is dead.
Danny Dyer, meanwhile, has been spilling the beans on how his exit scenes were filmed, revealing that, in addition to shooting on-location, he was also submerged in a water tank full of broccoli juice!
‘We had a wetsuit on under our clobber and I’ve got to say the stunt people came in and they were amazing,’ he told What to Watch.
‘We had the water tank stuff as well which they filled with broccoli juice. It’s like a bath temperature so it’s quite nice. My last scene I was all tearful and I was all emotional.

‘I smelt of broccoli, it sort of softened the blow.’
While Mick’s fate remains unknown, Linda recently returned to the Square to give Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) a piece of her mind for opening the Vic in the wake of her soulmate’s tragic disappearance.

Alfie explained that he meant no harm and was simply trying to support her, something which Linda eventually came to see, as she revealed that she intends to sell the Vic and leave.
