The Metro says Britain’s biggest day of strikes for a generation will bring the country to a standstill on 1 February as rail workers, university lecturers, teachers and civil servants all head to picket lines. The paper calls it “strike hell”, adding in a bold headline that the general attitude of unions seems to be “one out all out”.
