Double decker overturns in freezing conditions sparking major incident
The Metro says A major incident has been declared after a bus overturned while transporting workers to a nuclear power station in Somerset.
It comes as drivers were warned ‘only to travel if necessary’ today.
The crash, which took place at 6am, involved a double decker bus and a motorbike.
Passengers on the double decker bus included workers from Hinkley Point C nuclear power station.
A spokesman for the power station told Metro.co.uk: ‘A bus carrying members of the Hinkley Point C workforce has been involved in a traffic incident on the A39 in Bridgwater.
