BUS HORROR Somerset accident: Double-decker bus with up to 80 passengers FLIPS on side leaving ‘many hurt’ as icy roads spark chaos
The Sun says A DOUBLE-decker bus carrying up to 80 passengers has overturned in what police have described as a “major incident”.
Emergency services raced to the scene on the A39 Quantock Road, Bridgwater, Somerset, at around 6am following reports of a crash.
It has not yet been confirmed, but local reports suggest “many” people are hurt.
Several others are also trapped on the bus, transporting workers to Hinkley Point C nuclear power station, it is claimed.
A source told The Enquirer: “The bus is understood to have swerved to avoid a motorbike.
“The air ambulance is on site and medics have set up a triage scene at the site.”
