Love Island star Kai Fagan has opened up on his link to Marcus Rashford, after it was revealed the pair knew each other as children.
Kai is set to enter the villa for this year’s winter series, which sees Maya Jama take over as host from Laura Whitmore, alongside make-up artist Lana Jenkins and the villa’s first ever partially sighted contestant Ron Hall.
The 24-year-old science and PE teacher, who played semi-professional rugby, actually went to school with England football star Marcus.
Chatting to Metro.co.uk and other press ahead of entering the villa, Kai revealed the pair are no longer in touch.
‘No, I’m not still in touch with him,’ he told us.
‘I was in the same class as him from years 7 to 11, we went to the same sixth form, it was a really small sixth form.
