Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby has revealed why she chose to get her lip fillers dissolved at the end of last year – and no, it wasn’t because of trolls.
It’s no secret that the reality TV personality has faced much online abuse for her cosmetic procedures in recent years.
In 2021, on her podcast Values and Vibrators, Charlotte said: ‘If I had a pound for every time someone told me my lips were too big, you know what, I would be s**ting money.’
Even documentaries have poked fun at her, the famous example being Channel 5’s Celebrities: What’s Happened to Your Face? in which they dissected the changes to Charlotte’s appearance over the years.
Channel 5 issued an apology after the show was branded ‘immoral’ and ‘insensitive’ by Charlotte, whose agent warned the broadcaster of the potential effects airing it could have on the star’s mental health.
Who knew someone’s appearance could cause such a hoo-ha?
Well, Charlotte clearly does, but trolls aside, the reality star has now revealed it was having a little girl that severed her almost decade-long love affair with lip fillers.

Charlotte welcomed her daughter, Alba Jean, with boyfriend Jake Ankers on October 15 last year.
Speaking on Nova Podcast’s Charlotte Crosby: Always On, the Geordie said: ‘I did not get my lips dissolved because of trolls because, quite frankly, I’ve been trolled for so long about them, and I did not care.
‘I absolutely loved my lips, but it got to the point after pregnancy, they had swelled a lot.’
Charlotte explained how in pregnancy ‘everything’ swells, including your lips, and while watching herself on Geordie Shore: The Reunion, she thought: ‘I look ridiculous’.
‘For the first time, I was like, “I look ridiculous”,’ she said. ‘And obviously I’ve had a little girl now, you know what I mean?’
Never short of a sense of humour, Charlotte wondered whether her daughter could even see her making silly noises and playing with her ‘under them humongous lips’.

‘Can she even see who I am as a person?’ she asked.
‘Eight years I’d been getting me lips done, that’s a lot of filler in them lips. I thought, it’s all got to go.’
