The BBC is said to be in talks to acquire The Traitors USA to stream either on BBC Three or iPlayer, so thirsty UK fans can get their fix.
The American version of the hit reality show, hosted by Alan Cumming, is set to launch on the platform Peacock on Thursday, January 12.
Unlike the UK edition, this new season will see celebrities join the battle, including Below Deck icon Kate Chastain, Real Housewives’ Brandi Glanville, Survivor stars Cirie Fields and Stephenie LaGrossa, and Big Brother’s Cody Calafiore and Rachel Reilly among them.
According to reports by Variety, the BBC is eager to get hold of streaming rights this side of the pond, although no deal has been struck just yet.
It comes after false claims that The Traitors U.S. would air on Sky streamer NOW, which tends to be home to Peacock as they share the same parent company, Comcast.

The Traitors was originally created by a Dutch producer and first aired in the Netherlands in 2021.
It wasn’t until November that a UK spin-off aired on the BBC, with Strictly Come Dancing presenter Claudia Winkleman at the helm.
For those who have been living under a rock, The Traitors is a murder mystery reality show that sees 22 contestants move into a castle in the Scottish Highlands where they take on challenges to try and win prize money, which could reach £120,000.
Throughout the competition, the contestants are split into two groups: The Traitors and The Faithful.

By day, the group has to work together to get through a series of challenges, and by night, it’s up to them all to decide who to ‘banish’, based on whether they believe them to be a Traitor.
As if that wasn’t enough, The Traitors also are tasked with killing a Faithful each night.
