She’s had an incredibly tough year after suffering two significant losses, but it now looks like former The Only Way is Essex star Lauren Goodger could be returning to the show where she made her name.
One of the original cast members of the reality show, which started in 2010, Lauren appeared on six seasons before leaving in 2012.
Since then, she has taken part in other shows like Dancing on Ice and Celebrity Big Brother.
However last year saw her face not only the death of her youngest daughter, Lorena, in July, but the death of her ex-boyfriend Jake McLean as well.
Just a week before her daughter died, McLean was killed in a car crash in Turkey, which left his girlfriend and fellow Towie star Yazmin Oukhellou with serious injuries.
Despite not being followed by the cameras in several years, Lauren is said to be considering a return to reality TV now, with reports Towie bosses are trying to bring her back on board.

‘Towie are always in talks with former cast mates with a view to bringing them back and Lauren is top of their wish list,’ a source told The Sun.
‘She’s had chats with producers and while she hasn’t signed on the dotted line yet, the door is definitely wide open for her to come back.
They said she would be ‘the big star of the show if she was to return,’ noting how Amy Childs’ comeback ‘proved a huge hit’ with viewers.
The publication also reported that the show is ‘keen to surprise longtime fans of the show with some nostalgic faces.’

‘While the cast always has fresh members to bring new drama every series, the originals always bring a lot of buzz and bosses know a returning star it’s a sure fire way to bring back any lapsed viewers and spice things up,’ the source added.
A representative for Lauren also told The Sun: ‘There are lots of exciting things on the horizon for Lauren in 2023, including some big TV projects.’
The reality star did make a return to Towie in 2016, however she left again after one season.
