Spare leaked – Harry on Diana and William
Harry’s on Diana’s famous ‘three of us in this marriage’
In a report by the Sun – which claims to be translated a Spanish version of Prince Harry’s autobiography Spare, the paper claims Harry discusses Diana’s famous 1995 interview.
Princess Diana discussed Prince Charles’ affair in her 1995 BBC interview – she famously said: “There were three of us in this marriage, so it was a bit crowded.”
But Harry says Diana’s statement was “wrong.”
“My mother’s sentence that there were three people in her marriage was legendary but her calculations were wrong.
“William and I were left out of the equation.”
Harry on Charles’ affair with Camila
He reportedly says he was too young to suspect his dad’s affair but noted “the lack of stability, absence of love and affection in our home.”
He says William “harboured suspicions” about Camilla for a long time.
Harry wrote: “It would confuse him and torment him.
“When they were confirmed he felt awful remorse for not having said or done anything sooner.”
On meeting Camilla
He said the meeting was stone cold. He wrote: “None of us were particularly worried about each others opinion on the other.
“She was not my mother and I was not her major obstacle, in other words I was not the HEIR.”
