An image of a Wednesday Addams tattoo has gone viral – but perhaps not for the right reasons.
A fan of Netflix’s Tim Burton adaptation has shown off their ink depicting Jenna Ortega, but some people think it actually looks more like Samuel L. Jackson.
‘Welp, this was supposed to be Wednesday Addams but looks more like Samuel L Jackson as a kid… lol #HappyNewYear Squad,’ someone shared, sparking some pretty hilarious reactions.
The tattoo is meant to be resembling 20-year-old Jenna’s character in the hit Netflix series, complete with her school uniform and signature plaits.
However, the facial features are closer to that of 74-year-old Nick Fury actor.

‘That tattoo of Samuel Wednesday Addams is a jump scare every time I see it in a scroll. My God,’ one person hilariously wrote.
Another penned: ‘When you get a pre-production tattoo of Wednesday Addams, after hearing Samuel L. Jackson is being considered for the lead.’
Following the success of Jenna’s character on our screens, people have been channelling their inner Wednesday in other ways too, with a Russian skater recently wowing a crowd after paying homage to the iconic team in an incredible routine.
Kamila Valieva copied Wednesday’s interesting dance moves in episode 4, titled Woe What a Night, in which she is seen with her usual blank expression waving her arms around and dancing a completely different rhythm to Goo Goo Muck by The Cramps.
The dance became something of a viral sensation on TikTok, but instead of Goo Goo Muck the track was replaced with a sped-up version of Bloody Mary from Lady Gaga’s 2011 album Born This Way.

The video, which was shot at the Russian Figure Skating Championships, shows Kamila performing the routine during a solo skate in front of a crowd.
Following the release of Wednesday, Jenna opened up about her viral dance scene and how she choreographed it herself.

‘I watched videos of Siouxsie and the Banshees… I found archival footage of Goth kids dancing in clubs in the 80s… just anything that I could get my hands on. And then on the day, I thought, “Alright, well, I’m just gonna do it,”’ she said.
The Scream Queens actress added: ‘I paid homage to Lisa Loring, the first Wednesday Addams, I did a little bit of her shuffle that she does. And of course, they cut out of camera when I did do it. But it’s there – I know it is.’
Wednesday is available to stream on Netflix.
