The Traitors winner Aaron Evans has revealed he considered sharing some of his share of the cash prize with other contestants.
Aaron joined Meryl Williams and Hannah Byczkowski in winning the £101,050 prize, having successfully voted out the final Traitor, Wilfred Webster.
Throughout the series, Aaron had made it clear he planned to put down a chunk of his £34,000 winnings on a deposit for his mum’s house, and he’s now revealed what his plans are for the rest.
He told Metro.co.uk and other press: ‘I’m going to give her [his mum] about £30,000 and I’m going to take around £2-3k myself, and I’m hopefully going travelling in the new year.’
He added that he did think about sharing his money with his fellow contestants. When asked if he’d thought about it, Aaron told us: ‘I actually did, yeah.
‘So Nikky, I said to her from the very beginning that I wanted to help her get her arm.’

‘I’ve been trying to help out loads and I’ll definitely be donating to her and do as much work for her as possible,’ he added, speaking about now using his platform to help the ex-Faithful.
‘I think, if anything else, to get that for her will just be incredible.’
Nikky Wilding was the first contestant to be banished from the game, but, missing out on the prize hasn’t stopped her, as the accounts supervisor is continuing to fundraise for a new hand.
The 45-year-old was incredibly honest about wanting to use the money for a bionic hand after losing hers in an accident and suffering with phantom limb pain for two decades, which she says made her banishment all the more devastating.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, she began: ‘I felt like I wasn’t given the chance to show people what I can do and to show the public what you can do, regardless of what happens to you. I felt it was cut short, very prematurely.’
‘It was a shock that they picked me. The reasons for which they picked me I thought were really weak, and I suppose that’s what irked me a bit because it was a real nonsensical reason, and it was herd mentality, but that’s how it works, isn’t it?’

But, she’s powering on with her fundraising and aiming to garner £80,000 to pay for both further amputation to reduce her pain, as well as a £30,000 ground-breaking myoelectric model, which would allow Nicky to control her prosthetic hand’s movements via thought.
‘I’ve been fundraising for quite some time now. It’s a lot to keep asking the same pool of people for money and it’s hard and it’s a large sum of money I need to raise, but I’m continuing on with my fundraising, whether that be with triathlons or running events or general adventuring, anything outdoors and anything a little bit out there, if I can challenge and push myself and it makes people think, actually, she deserves this fiver or tenner, or whatever, people wanna help people who wanna help themselves.’
The Traitors is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
