Prepare to have your ears blessed with Christmas magic, thanks to V from BTS.
The K-pop star put his own spin on the festive classic It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas, originally written in 1951 by Meredith Wilson and first released in the same year by Perry Como and The Fontane Sisters with Mitchell Ayers & His Orchestra.
V now joins the likes of Michael Bublé and Meghan Trainor, who have both covered the iconic tune in the past.
The music star – who makes up BTS with Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, and Jungkook – initially teased his Christmas cover on his Instagram Story, before uploading the full version to YouTube.
Well and truly taking on the role of a crooner, V was met with a load of love and praise from devoted fans in the comments.
One described his voice as ‘so beautiful’, while another said it felt like they were ‘listening to a jazz artist from 90s’.
‘This was such a wonderful bit of Christmas happiness for me, thank you’, one grateful fan commented.
‘His deep voice fits so perfect’, said another, with one commenting that it made them ‘tear up’.
‘You sound like heaven,’ praised a diehard fan.
‘Just what I needed to cheer me up’, declared another.
V’s Christmas cover comes amid the band’s hiatus – but that hasn’t stopped them from giving the people what they want.

It was announced recently that BTS will have their own Disney docuseries, which will premiere next year.
BTS Monuments: Beyond the Star will showcase ‘the daily lives, thoughts and plans’ of the group’s members ‘as they prepare for their second chapter,’ following the news earlier this year that the band were taking a break to focus on solo projects.

The collaboration between Disney and BTS was teased earlier this year, along with two other titles, the 4K concert film BTS: Permission To Dance On Stage – LA and reality show In the Soop: Friendcation which stars band member V alongside Parasite movie actor Woo-shik Choi and rapper Peakboy.
BTS promised that the series will share their ‘stories of growth’ as well as their music ‘from our debut to today.’
