It might not be the keepsake we’d all choose to take while away from home, but Arctic Monkeys’ travelling pop-up bar that fits inside a travel case still sounds amazing.
Irish rock band Inhaler supported the indie legends in Europe this summer, and frontman Eli Hewson revealed that the band advised him and his bandmates to get their own portable bar.
It was, he explained, perfect for making any drab room ‘mint.’
‘They were telling me about this flight case, which has a lamp in, a table, so they bring the bar with them (on tour). ‘They were like, ‘Get one of these as soon as you can. It’ll make any drab room feel mint,’’ he said.
But it’s not all about fun off the stage, with drummer Ryan McMahon admitting he and his bandmates suffered imposter syndrome as they watched Alex and co, ‘the greatest rock and roll band in the world’ perform.
‘They’re just so on it, and for a band that hadn’t toured in like three years, they really proved why they’re still at the top, and their new album is so fun to listen to,’ he told Far Out magazine.
‘The fact we get to do it all again goes back to that imposter syndrome. We don’t feel worthy of it at all.’
Inhaler will have a chance to banish these feelings though, as they’ll hit the road with Arctic Monkeys again on their next 10-date jaunt in 2023. The run kicks off in Linz, Austria on April 24th, 2023, and wraps on May 9th in Paris.
The R U Mine? hitmakers will then kick off the UK leg of their tour in Bristol on May 29th, before heading to North America in August.
However, the English rockers left a telling gap in their dates, amid reports that they will play Glastonbury this summer, which takes place from June 21 to 25.

The band is said to have started preparing for the epic gig, which would mark the first time they’ve appeared on the Pyramid Stage in 10 years, and the third time they’ve played the iconic festival.
A source said: ‘Alex Turner and the band are coming back to Glastonbury, and this time their set is going to be even bigger and better.’

They added to The Sun: ‘The lads have signed on the dotted line and will return to the Pyramid Stage next June.
After the festival dates lined up with their upcoming tour they said they couldn’t not play there again. They are in the process of putting together their team and are working on making their performance one of Glastonbury’s most memorable.’
